this is a blog.

Hi there. You’ve made it onto my blog. Congratulations.

So basically, it occurred to me recently that as a developing artist I need to be able to engage with the outside world through methods other than my work. Much as I’d prefer it, I can’t just hide in a room all day on my computer, only emerging once in a while to show someone a play or get food. If I’m gonna do the artist hustle, I need to show my voice outside of my art.

Basically, this is my way of doing that without having to be active on a hellhole platform that incentivizes snap judgments and binary ways of thinking expressed in an arbitrary 140 character limit. This blog will be a place for me to both express my opinions and share any news (productions, events, articles, etc.). Maybe I’ll put some theater reviews out (once I’m seeing enough theater to warrant that).

This is essentially going to be my online social space. You might like some of what I write. You might not. But hopefully we’ll all learn something from this.
