21 Chump Street

Book, Music and Lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda
National Theater Institute Spring ‘21

Kenjiro directed this musical based on a story from This American Life as part of a lab at the National Theater Institute. Generally, labs were educational presentations of excerpts from shows and were not open to public. However, 21 Chump Street was unique in that it was the only lab to perform an entire musical from start to finish using the same performers and director. For other labs I participated in, click here.

Featuring Celeste Borletti, Kalala Kiwanuka-Woernle, Nathanial Lim, Spencer Locke, and Laura Elena Padilla
